Why it exists
In emergencies, the same things fail first. Medications and history are hard to recall, contacts are missing, and caregivers are often too flustered to answer basic medical and personal questions when first responders arrive.
While caring for their parents, Pam and Tricia looked for a simple, low-fuss option to address this but could not find one. So they built HERBIE, a ready-to-grab system that keeps key information and first-stage essentials together, like a charger, glasses, and a few personal items.
Using decades of combined experience, Tricia brought community health and care insight and Pam brought practical design and production discipline. Together, they focused on a system that stays minimal, readable, and realistic to maintain.
